body of land is instant composition of dance, light and sound. A duet for two dancers (Sarantaki & Kubny), and another duet for light and sound (Arenas & Antikainen). The quartet works with the materials creating a nature, a marketplace. It is an encountering for the first and for the 1000th time. 

 

The piece is a collection of frames which tell something about the already lived life, about upcoming longing and about particles of loved ones rinsed into the cells like the sand on the beach. The work serves as a landscape to delve oneself into. It invites the spectator to join to create the space together through witnessing and sharing.
